1. General Provisions

A gift certificate is a document issued by Grand Hotel Rogaška (hereinafter: the issuer) in exchange for payment. The issuer is obliged to accept the voucher as payment for the services specified on the voucher or in these terms and conditions.

2. Validity and redeemability of gift vouchers

• Types of vouchers: Gift vouchers are redeemable for services that are expressly specified on the gift voucher itself (service vouchers).
• Value vouchers: In the case of a value gift voucher (voucher with a specific monetary amount), the holder may use the following hotel services:

o    accommodation and hotel packages with stay,

o    holistic programs of the Vis Vita Spa & Beauty Center,

o    individual wellness and beauty services at the Vis Vita Spa & Beauty Center.

• Validity period: The gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. After this period, the voucher expires, which means that the holder can no longer claim the service or a refund.

3. Using the voucher

• Reservation: the voucher holder must make a reservation in advance for all services. The gift voucher number must be provided when making the reservation. The voucher can only be redeemed if the hotel has available capacity and the reservation is made at least 7 days in advance.
• Presentation: the holder must present the original gift voucher upon arrival or before using the service.
• No partial use: the gift voucher must be used in full during a single visit. Partial use of the voucher is not possible under any circumstances. If the value of the service provided is lower than the value of the voucher, the remaining value will not be refunded (neither in cash nor in the form of a credit note).
• Additional payment: if the value of the selected service is higher than the value of the gift voucher, the holder must pay the difference according to the valid price list.
• If the service specified on the voucher (e.g., detox) is withdrawn from the offer during the period of validity, the voucher will be converted into a voucher for the original purchase amount, and the period of validity will remain unchanged.

4. Returns and exchanges

• Withdrawal from online purchase: when purchasing a gift voucher via the website, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, provided that the voucher has not been redeemed during this period.
• Cash payment: gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Transferability: gift vouchers are transferable in agreement with the hotel (so that the code can be assigned to another person).
• Loss or theft: the issuer is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers and does not issue replacements.

5. Cancellation of reservation

If the holder makes a reservation and does not cancel it in accordance with the general cancellation conditions (72 hours prior to arrival), the gift voucher is considered redeemed.

6. GDPR

Customer data is collected and processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order and in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation (GDPR).
